The Dragon's Reach Inn
Inn Fighting

Session 1 Recap: Total XP earned 700

Our adventuring party consists of River Drake, a Longtooth Shifter Druid; Corin, a Shade Warlock; Xanatos, a Human Ranger; and Tylar Catslove, a human Hexblade.

After having a run in with a trio of drunken patrons, and with a cold rain coming down the PC’s gathered in the Dragon’s Reach Inn. River spent most of the evening attempting to sit quietly alone nursing a mead, only to be interrupted by Corin’s constant proclamations of the coming of some dark god. After getting to know each other and some of the other patrons through a series of pick pocket attempts, everything went crazy. The inn began to shake as if struck by an earthquake; everyone and everything inside tossed around like yesterday’s garbage with reality itself blinking out of existence for a moment.

Just as everyone was beginning to think they were dead and trapped in the void between worlds, everything returned. But the inn was no longer situated in its seedy corner of Neverwinter’s protected enclave. It now rested in the bottom of some large cavern full of towering and ancient mushrooms that glowed faintly.

Everyone managed to escape the inn just as its remains collapsed into a twisted mass of timber and stone. The sound of which drew the attention of the cave’s inhabitants, 2 Guard Drakes and 3 Spitting Drakes.

The group managed to work together, defending the unarmed refugees of the inn and dispatching the drakes with only minor injuries. Afterwards they salvaged some food from the inn and then discovered and older ruin of another building nearby; apparently having been brought to the cavern through the same means.

Session 2 Recap: Total XP earned 500
Special XP rewards – 50 to Alex and 50 to Sean

After leaving behind the ruins of the Inn, the party moved into a tunnel found by the Innkeeper’s son. Not far in the tunnel split. Chad decided to take the side passage as the rest of the party continued down the main path toward the sound of rushing water.

In the main tunnel the group came across a large waterfall that appeared to be pouring through a hole in the tunnel wall about 40 feet above them. The water formed a rather shallow pool before running across the tunnel and disappearing into the opposite wall. As they began to investigate the pool the ground beneath them shook and several giant beetles buried their way out and attacked.

a flash of light emanated from the hole in which the waterfall originated and Wilden Druid appeared seemingly out of nowhere. He fell down the waterfall and suffered minor injuries when he landed.
